And that's it! This was actually a head start on the next batch of boards for when I got back from vacation, but they had powered through the holiday, and had the house doing the cutscenes finish the boards. Kind of a bummer, I set up the schedule to have them all done in time, but maybe they got panicky, or the house was making good time on the scenes and ran out of stuff to do? Too bad for me...but good Angry Eyes on Bumblebee in that last one, though!

Next week I'll be finishing up the Transformers the Game stuff, with menu screen, HUD, and F/X development.

And now the outro sequence - a very simple, talking heads type exposition, that leads into the next level. Those are usally pretty hard to keep from being boring, visually, but the size difference between the humans and Bumblebee led to opportunities with more dynamic angles to get a little more life out of one-to-one conversation.

Here's a mission sequence, something that takes place in between the main level cutscenes. I'm not really sure of the context, it seems like there's a lot of Barricade, Bumblebee, and Sam/Mikaela battles, wins and losses, all kinds of craziness. This was the next set that was given to me, but there were two previous missions before the bookend scenes I had done that I hadn't received; they were still being written, but this was the last batch of scripts I got before going on vacation in '06.

I like that bit with the diving Barricade filling the screen as Sam and Mikaela run off in the distance. Yay, me!

This is the outro series for the Barricade cutscene - but it's so big, I'm going cut it in half, and post the rest tomorrow. I like this set quite a bit, it's kind of an alternate version of the Barricade chase/fight from the film, if Barricade had won...
