Meh. I used every digital crutch I have to make it look decent. I'm just not into it. I think it's a strong design, but executed poorly. I'll probably give it the super tight all digital treatment sooner or later, plus back view, but I'm shelving it for now...

Grand Prix 01

I did this sketch last night; I'm planning on doing another big sloppy painting. I'm so tightly wound doing these ultra tight Transformer designs for work right now, that I need to make a mess in the real world. I watched Grand Prix over the weekend and got all inspired.

Still working on this one, don't worry! Here's the colored version, with a bit of texture and some penciled highlights, and a kiss of highlighting. Now it's on to the final, adding in the steam, highlights, and lighting.

TPR - Asia Tour01

One more design for my friends at Theme Park Review, for the Asia trip they're taking this fall. They're going to China, Japan, and South Korea, and here's the big idea. A coaster running on top of the Great Wall, being chased by Godzilla, with the blue and red Korean Flag Ying Yang symbol in the background, along with some fireworks.
