Seahorse Sketches

I'm working on an idea for a short seahorse story...here's some sketches from last night. It's the very first pass at him, so nothing is really great (plus I'm a little rusty - haven't drawn seriously in this style for a couple months) but the one with the dot is the probably pretty close to the final head design.

I haven't even used reference yet for the body, so I'm not sure where all the little flipper wings go just yet.

Man. I screwed up that opposite blower on the blimp. Couldn't figure it out until AFTER I locked it in with the marker. Expect a lot of smoke to obscure it in the final.

Heck, there's going to be lots of smoke and searchlights by the time it gets to final anyways...
